Hey, I’m Marie, a 25-year-old photographer and cinemagraph artist from a little town in England. I love capturing beautiful images, exploring the world and creating enchanting cinemagraphs. I shoot with my Canon 5dmIII and a selection of prime lenses (85mm, 40mm, 35mm and 24mm), before processing and editing in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. I am currently based in Nottingham, available for work and am more than happy to travel if you live in a land far, far away.
I studied photographic arts at university in Swansea, always feeling most inspired when by the seaside. Since graduating in 2013, I spent a summer as photographer and designer for a travel guide in the lovely city of Lyon, discovered the most breathtaking beaches and hiked across volcanoes and glaciers whilst travelling around Australia and New Zealand, spent three seasons shooting weddings, events and retreats on the stunning island of Ibiza, and have created lots of magical cinemagraphs for clients including Nissan and The Ad Council.
I have had my work exhibited in the Saatchi Gallery as one of the shortlisted artists for the Google+ Motion Photography Prize, in the Old Truman Brewery as part of the London Free Range Art & Design show, and in Florida as part of Scope Art Miami. I was also an Accor Hotels Three Cities Travel-Blogger finalist and shortlisted for the RTWE Photo-Blogger award.
Aside from photography, I love interior styling, blogging and planning in my bullet journal. I have a slight obsession with lace, plants and white-brick walls.
